Making a film is only half the journey; getting people to watch it is the other half. Marketing teams build anticipation, craft campaigns, and manage social media presence.

Distribution professionals negotiate cinema placements and streaming deals, ensuring the film reaches its audience effectively.

Those pursuing careers in marketing or distribution often study film marketing, communications, or business. Many start by interning with production companies, distribution firms, or media agencies. Strong skills in audience research, digital marketing tools, networking, and negotiation are essential for promoting films successfully in today’s Nollywood landscape.
